Update, Alpha-4.0.0
This past week has been mostly devoted to content. Someone from the community was kind enough to report a few bugs to me and those were fixed in a minor update earlier this week. If anyone finds any additional bugs (which I'm sure there are many) I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know.
With this update, the first thing you'll probably notice is the addition of water. Currently there is no speed mechanic in UtMM so it won't slow you down, but you will get tired after about 10 turns of swimming and start to drown. You also make more noise when stepping in the water.
But noise might be the least of your worries, as new things can be found lurking under the placid surface. They won't charge at you straight away. They'll wait 'til you get nice and close and then leap out after you.
It's not in the update notes but you can accelerate your movement by holding shift. It's mostly just something I use for testing but I thought I'd leave it in for the truly impatient. However you may find that you tend to blunder into things and miss various cues that might be key to your survival while scooting around the map at Doom speeds.
