Under the Mad Mountain

After spending several days traveling across treacherous seas, you have finally arrived on a mysterious island off the coast of Iceland. None among you truly know why the jarl has sent you here, only that you are to seek an idol of some vague description. But there have been whispers of the jarl's failing health, of strange people visiting him in the night, and of the horrific cries when he wakes from some unfathomable nightmare. 

Having discovered a cave at the foot of an ominous mountain at the center of the island, you venture forth, armed only with a sword and a shield, knowing not what awaits you deep under the mad mountain.
